What a lovely day!

I had a fantastic day on tuesday....
I didn;t do much all day but had to take Daniel to ice hockey training - I needed to buy some brown shoes - needed you understand not just wanted ;) well we went to debenhams in the big shopping centre by the ice rink and I found just the little brown dollies I was looking for, I opaid and as we were leaving a lady asked if I had a moment - we had so I said yes!! She was a really nice lady who wanted to give me a makeover! Ive never ever ever been asked even if Id like a squirt of scent by one of the snooty noses stick up ther as*se bints on the make up counter - but this lady was totally differant, a bit chubby and a natural red head - pale skin and lovely green eyes - well to cut a long story short I went in looking like a bag lady and came out a yummy mummy! and of course I got suckered for the "deal" they had - just look at all these products for 40 quid but i really did need to replace foundation and powder at the body shop and that would have been nearly 30 quid so it wasn;t soooo bad - honestly mr bank manager!!

had the area manager visiting alllll day today - found out the details of the shop relay we have to do - its going to involve an over nighter so I get monday and tuesday off but with the downside of working all night on monday :( then the sunday kid wanted holiday on the week that says NO HOLIDAY ALLOWED all over the calendar, but I;ve used it to my advantage - i'm doing her sunday and then she has to work saturday the following weekend - the weekend I wanted off but couldn;t have because of the no holiday rule!! who says beng the boss is all bad!

I've started looking for my little black dress for the posh frock do that we are going to on valentines night, I;m hoping to be at goal weight by then - and depending on what my bones look like once all the fat has gone I'd like to be a size 12 to 14 - that may be wishful thinking but what ever weight and size I shalln;t be the blob i was anymore :D

The committee meeting went on and on and it was 30 minutes drive home - I was shattered and brain achey. Things are semi sorted and then they aren;t - argggh committees!

At work we thought we were getting the "oppostition" opening their shop at 1230 today - it turns out that our company bought out their company last night!!

Well I've been finishing all the stuff for Telford Junior Ice Hockey Club today... and I'm bog eyed - we have a committee meeting tomorrow night and as communication and liaison officer I have to make sure I'm up to date with all my liaising and communicating!
For those of you who have met me you'll know I'm rather chunky (to say the least) well hey ho I'm on yet another diet but this one is working!! god bless the cambridge diet, 8 weeks and I've lost 2 stone; look out little black dress I'm coming to get you!
I made the kids an apple pie today - following the Hairy Bikers recipe - oh boy did it look yummy but I resisted and remained virtuous and had my soup (they had the pie after I;d made them a full on roast beef dinner) but.... I chucked a right old strop afterwards and now i feel really yukky cos i was stupid - its only an apple pie afterall.

Nothing tastes as good as slim feels!!

First Post

Well I've finally gone and done it... I have opened my own blog.
suppose its a place I can come and rant and moan, share joys and sorrows, successes and disaoopointments without having to really listen to answers - I can read any comments but I dont 'have to' listen, not like you 'have to' when its spoken word!!

I have spent today at the University of Birmingham with no 1 child - she's going through the motions of scouting places for next year - but with AS level grades of 2 e's and 2 c's I think she is deluding herself that she's going to be a successful uni student next year - who knows maybe she's been hiding her light under a bushell and she;s going to storm it with A's all the way - 2 hopes I think.... Bob Hope and no hope.
